WHAT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE AMARA’S IN-HOUSE EVENTS MANAGER?

    Make all necessary arrangements with the event’s professionals 

    Act as a Food and Beverage menu advisor (including the wedding cake)
    Create the wedding itinerary, detail banquet event orders, outline entire event.

    Create a floor plan of your function space, in order for you to provide seating arrangements.

    Oversee the details of the bride and groom’s room reservations
    Co-ordinate the wedding day and room(s) set-ups, food preparation and other necessary operations.

    Ensure a smooth transition to the hotel’s Banquet Captain once the Grand Entrance has occurred.

    Review all the banquet checks for accuracy, prior to the completion and pricing of the final bill.

    CAN AMARA’S WEDDING COORDINATOR ORGANIZE A MINISTER WHO CAN CONDUCT THE CEREMONY AND ISSUE A LICENSE FOR THE WEDDING?

      The AMARA can contact and book the municipality and make all the necessary arrangements for the wedding license and the marriage officer who will conduct your wedding at the AMARA Hotel.

      CAN AMARA’S WEDDING COORDINATOR RECOMMEND A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER, FLORIST OR ENTERTAINMENT TEAM FOR THE BIG DAY?

        The AMARA is proud to work with the best suppliers on the island, and various options on vendors who will turn all your dreams and ideas into reality. All the vendors to be used by AMARA are highly skilled and experienced in their fields and hold a high reputation in order to match the hotel’s level of standards. Please note that all the vendors with whom the hotel cooperates must have valid business licenses and maintain a good image by following the legal restrictions applied by the government. Thus, if you prefer to make arrangements with any other vendors on your own, the hotel has the full authority to screen and choose the vendors in order to make sure that they live up to the hotel’s standards.

        FOOD AND BEVERAGE

        WHAT IS THE AVERAGE COST PER PERSON FOR FOOD & BEVERAGE?

          Based on our current banquet menus, on average you may expect to spend approximately €85.00-€120.00 per person for buffet dinner inclusive of current taxable service charge & current sales tax. These averages would encompass hors d’oeuvres during your welcome cocktail reception, plated or buffet meal, wedding cake, wine service with meal, toast for the speeches and an open hosted bar service based on a moderate drinking group. Please be aware that our menu items and pricing are subject to change and your final expenditure will depend on your final guest attendance, menu selections and food & beverage financial commitment.

          For drinks, the packages start from €39.00 per person and depending on the request can change accordingly. For cocktail receptions, the cost depends on the requirements and starts from €60.00 per person.

          CAN FOOD OR BEVERAGES BE BROUGHT IN?

            HOW LATE CAN ALCOHOL BE SERVED?

              Alcohol can be served until the end of the dinner (02:00hrs).

              DO YOU PROVIDE CHILDREN’S MEALS?

                Children meals can be prepared and offered upon request.

                WHEN DO I NEED TO FINALIZE MY MENU?

                  Food and beverage selections must be finalized and confirmed with the wedding coordinator four weeks prior to the date of your wedding. Your final guest count or guarantee is due five business days prior to the wedding or one week with choice entrée selections. This will be considered a guarantee, for which you will be charged even if fewer guests attend the event.

                  DO YOU PROVIDE A TASTING OF THE FOOD WE SELECT? WHEN MAY I COME AND WHAT IS INCLUDED?

                    The AMARA is pleased to offer a sample menu tasting for wedding couples. Any additional guests will be charged at €85.00 per person. Tastings are offered only when the couple has confirmed and paid the deposit and when the menu has been selected by the couple and includes only the dishes within that menu. Please note that the hotel does not provide the tasting of all food and beverage items listed in our banqueting menus.

                    GENERAL INFORMATION

                    HOW DO I SECURE MY WEDDING DATE AND VENUE?

                      Following your initial meeting with the wedding coordinator who will conduct a thorough inspection of a designated venue and will check dates, space and locations, an Agreement will be prepared and your date will be confirmed upon receipt of your deposit. Please note that in case of civil weddings, the hotel has to receive confirmation about the date and the time of the wedding from the Municipality of Limassol as well.

                        Outdoor venue - until 23h00
                        Indoor venue - until 02h00

                        CAN I HOST MY CEREMONY ONLY AT AMARA?

                          AMARA offers both indoor and outdoor venues for the wedding ceremonies to take place. Please refer to our wedding information folder for detailed information.

                          WHAT ARE THE DEPOSITS BASED ON AND WHEN ARE THEY DUE?

                            AMARA requires a 10% non-refundable down payment in order to secure the date and the venues for your event. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. AMARA requires full pre-payment for all events prior to the wedding day.

                            WHAT COMPLIMENTS ARE PROVIDED FOR THE BRIDE & GROOM OVER THEIR WEDDING AND ACCOMMODATION WITH THE HOTEL?

                              A bottle of champagne to be enjoyed during the wedding reception
                              A three-tier wedding cake (for weddings over €10,000 on Food & Beverages).
                              Accommodation for one night is offered with our compliments for the bride and groom on the night of the wedding in a Deluxe Sea View Room (offered only to weddings where the total amount payable to the hotel for the wedding exceeds €20,000).
                              Full champagne breakfast in bed (upon request).
                              A 10% discount on any spa treatment booked at our Spa the following day of the wedding.
                              A commemorative wedding gift (for weddings over €10,000 on Food & Beverages).
                              A 10% discount for your wedding anniversary for accommodation
                              Complimentary accommodation.
                              (In cases where the total amount payable to the hotel exceeds €65,000, complimentary accommodation for 2 persons is offered at our luxurious 5-star sister hotel, the Elysium in Paphos, in a room overlooking the sea. The accommodation is accompanied by a complimentary meal for 2 at the Elysium’s Italian Ristorante Bacco or at the Asian fusion O’Shin restaurant.)
