The Medieval Castle of Kolossi in Limassol, also known as Koulas, is one of the most important fortresses from the Frankish period in Cyprus that are preserved to this day.

Amathus was one of the ancient royal cities of Cyprus until about 300 BC, and some of its impressive remains can be seen today on the southern coast in front of Agios Tychonas. Its ancient cult sanctuary of Aphrodite was the second most important in Cyprus, her homeland, after Paphos. 

The Medieval Castle is located in the heart of Limassol's historic centre, which today houses the Medieval Collection of the Cyprus Museum. 

The Ancient City of Kourion is one of the most impressive ancient locales in the Mediterranean. It became a city kingdom around the 11th century BC, after the arrival and settlement of the Greek (Achaeans) colonists in Cyprus. According to tradition this happened after the end of the Trojan War. Kourion was one of the wealthiest kingdoms of Cyprus. 

The Sanctuary of Apollo Hylates at the ancient city of Kourion is one of the main religious centres of ancient Cyprus, where Apollo, the god of forests, was worshipped. Apollo was the main cult deity in this specific temple, which also was one of the most popular temples on the island.
